Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule’s agent Volker Struth said his client has already made a decision on his potential next club amid Chelsea’s rumoured interest.

Chelsea are currently at risk of losing a few defenders on free transfers at the end of the season.

Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Cesar Azpilicueta’s contracts all expire in the summer.

One of the most cost-effective options, in case any of the aforementioned defenders eventually leaves, is to bring in free-agent replacements.

Sule certainly fits this criterion as Bayern Munich have recently confirmed the 26-year-old’s departure at the end of season.

According to German outlet Sport 1, Chelsea are among clubs interested in Sule, alongside Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United.

Amid the expected race for the player’s signature, Sule’s agent, Struth, has made an interesting claim.

“Yes, it’s decided,” the agent told Sport1 when asked about Sule’s summer destination.

“Niklas has recently made a decision and I would be surprised if he overturns it again.”

Struth further insisted that money is not a primary factor in Sule’s decision as he suggested that a move to Newcastle is unlikely.

“I think I would have a problem if we announced in a few days that the player was going to Newcastle, and I was sitting here explaining that the monetary aspect was not the priority,” he added.
