Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos said his client could leave Chelsea if a club is prepared to meet his £42.7million valuation, after having received “calls” from several interested clubs.
Given his performances in the last several months for Chelsea and Italy, perhaps it is inevitable that the 29-year-old would attract some interest from other clubs.
He only has a couple of years left in his contract at Stamford Bridge, and so far, there has yet to be an agreement over a new deal.
His agent Santos, who, a few months ago, opened up about the midfielder’s desire to return to Italy at some point, has still refused to rule out any potential summer move.

“Today Jorginho’s valuation is around €50million (£42.7m),” the agent told Radio Marte (via Il Mattino).
“If a team with that kind of money arrives, who knows?
“A few clubs have called me? Yes.
“But our first thought is to talk to Marina Granovskaia about the renewal.”

Well, at least Jorginho’s first option is to negotiate a new contract with Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel clearly values the midfielder’s experience, having described him, along with N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic, as crucial players for his plans.
Particularly now that Billy Gilmour will spend the next season at Norwich City on loan, keeping Jorginho would be more important.
Although, from a financial perspective, Chelsea are unlikely to get any better opportunity to cash in on the former Napoli star than this summer.
