Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is now close to leaving Stamford Bridge.
He took to Twitter to state that the 31-year-old has already agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli over a potential transfer this summer.
Chelsea are being raided this summer by sides from Saudi Arabia, with Mendy the latest to be targeted.

This comes after it is expected any moment now that N’golo Kante will complete his own move over there when his contract in West London comes to an end.
It is not just free agents they are targeting though. Deals are also reportedly close for Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly to make their own moves permanent.
It appears as if Mendy is the closest to be confirming his own fate, with Romano claiming the negotiations between all parties are reaching the final stages.
Mendy agrees personal terms
He said: “Understand Edouard Mendy has now agreed personal terms with Saudi side Al Ahli — contract will be valid until June 2026.
“Negotiations at final stages for Senegal goalkeeper to join Saudi league from Chelsea on permanent deal. Here we go soon!”
Despite being one of the first names on the teamsheet under Thomas Tuchel, appearances were hard to come by when he was sacked.

This is despite having the backing of the majority of his teammates. Ruben Loftus-Cheek previously described him as a ‘fantastic leader’.
It remains to be seen what Mauricio Pochettino is planning to do with the goalkeeper position this summer, ahead of his first season as Chelsea manager.
Reports have claimed that he may be interested in sticking with Kepa Arrizabalaga as the number one in West London, although it is unlikely that will be too popular a decision amongst the supporters.
