Ajax have Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen on their radar as they prepare to bring in more Dutch players.
Ian Maatsen could be forced to leave Chelsea after seeing little game time this season.
According to Soccer News, Ajax are one club who are keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old and see him as ideal, as they want to sign more Dutch footballers.
Ajax are likely to face competition for Maatsen’s signature if they do decide to make a move for him, though.
The left-back has been linked with a return to Burnley after spending last season there on loan. In the summer, the Evening Standard reported that they tried to re-sign him on another temporary deal that would have eventually become a £31.5m permanent transfer.

Ajax would be great move for Ian Maatsen
Ajax are not having a good season, with John van ‘t Schip’s side not even sitting in the top four in the Eredivisie.
Nevertheless, Ajax are still the biggest club in the Netherlands. Getting to play for them would be a huge achievement for a Dutchman like Maatsen.
The most important thing, though, is that Maatsen will get more game time there. He is not really getting a look-in at Chelsea right now.
The Blues have several options in attack and it is a similar theme at left-back when everyone is fit. That has barely happened this season, with Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella both currently out injured, yet Mauricio Pochettino has still overlooked Maatsen for the position.
If the Netherlands U21 international wants regular game time, then he needs to leave Chelsea, and Ajax could be the perfect destination.
Under Pochettino, he is not going to get minutes at left-back, while starting ahead of the likes of Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling also looks like a difficult task.
