Chelsea are preparing for the Club World Cup final in the United States, however are seeing transfers disrupt the camp in the days leading up to the game.
Noni Madueke has already departed the squad in order to sign his contract with Arsenal. The winger had found starts harder to come by during the competition than he had in the domestic season.
Enzo Maresca has made it clear that he does not want players around who are not 100% committed to the cause, however even he would have found it frustrating to see a player leave the camp just days before the Club World Cup final.
He will want all the noise to be around the upcoming game, however another top side are reportedly interested in signing one player who could be in line to start against PSG.

Bayern Munich enquire about signing Malo Gusto from Chelsea
Malo Gusto has found himself being a regular in the side during this competition, with Reece James missing a game due to injury and also predominantly being used as a central midfielder.
It looks as if his performances have interested Bayern Munich, who are in the market for a new right-back ahead of next season.
According to L’Equipe, the Bundesliga champions have enquired into the possibility of signing the Frenchman this summer, and whether Chelsea would be interested in a sale.
The report goes on to say that it is currently unknown whether the Blues would entertain a deal for the defender, who has now been a regular in the side for two seasons.

Chelsea have perfect Gusto replacement waiting in the wings
While many Chelsea fans would love to see James return to the right-back position, it looks as if Maresca sees the club captain in a central role for now.
However, the Blues do have Josh Acheampong ready and waiting for more opportunities after being promoted to the first-team squad at the end of 2024.
Crystal Palace want Acheampong on loan, and it feels like regular football is best for his development next season, whether that is at Stamford Bridge or elsewhere.
If Bayern’s interest in Gusto is serious, the Blues should not fear handing the youngster more responsibility for next season as a serious option for the starting side.
