Ange Postecoglou was full of praise for the World Cup performance of his Celtic defender and Chelsea target Josip Juranovic.
Speaking in a press conference earlier today, Postecoglou purred over the full-back’s brilliant campaign in Qatar.
Juranovic was just one of many jewels that glistened as Croatia claimed the bronze medal.
The 27-year-old started all but one of his nation’s fixtures, and made a strong case for being the competition’s best right-back.

Arguably only Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi came close to matching the contributions of the Celtic man.
Hakimi and Juranovic were unable to personally fight for the accolade, as the latter was left on the bench for Croatia and Morocco’s third-place playoff.
It would’ve set up a battle between Chelsea targets past and present.
Chelsea jostle for Josip Juranovic
Todd Boehly is apparently a massive fan of Juranovic, whilst his predecessor Roman Abramovich seemingly liked the look of Hakimi.
Paris Saint-Germain managed to land the Moroccan ahead of Abramovich last summer.
Barcelona might do the same with Juranovic, as they have reportedly made him their priority signing at right-back.
Whatever happens with the Croat in the next month or so, he has certainly earned the admiration of his current manager.

“Josip’s not back yet. He had a great World Cup absolutely. He was brilliant. Credit to him and he’s got a memory he’ll have forever,” said Postecoglou.
“He represented our football club really well, as did all of our boys at the World Cup. He’s got a bit of time off now, he’s got a week off and he’ll be back training early next and be ready to go.”
