Dutch Journalist Rik Elfrink has claimed on Twitter that PSV have blocked any move from Chelsea for midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.
It had been reported that the Blues were prepared to make a late move for the defensive midfielder, given the injury problems that have begun to pick up already in that area.
N’golo Kante is still out for a few weeks following his injury suffered against Tottenham, while Mateo Kovacic is still being eased back in following his problem that kept him out of the opening games of the campaign.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek went off injured at half-time of the game against Southampton too, although the extent of his injury isn’t likely to be too long.
These issues have seen late reports that the Blues are looking to sign a midfielder before the end of the transfer window, with them being linked to a couple of players from the Dutch league.
PSV cancel Chelsea’s Sangare efforts
There were reports breaking last night that they had made a late bid for Ajax’s Edson Alvarez, who is seemingly keen for a move away from the Dutch champions.
Then, it was claimed they were in for Sangare, although Elfrink has stated that this deal is no longer on the cards.
He said: “Sangare will stay with PSV, it is now clear. PSV has cancelled Chelsea.”

The Ivory Coast international has picked up a reputation as an extremely strong defensive midfielder, with him specialising in winning duels both on the ground and aerially.
However, this is not to say that his passing is not up to standard, with him undoubtedly being good enough on the ball to settle into English football.
In fact, when linked to Leicester City earlier this year, former PSV manager Aad de Mos said that he would be better than their whole midfield on one leg, describing him as ‘extraordinary’.
