Chelsea still have a number of players they are looking to move on this summer, however they have now been presented the opportunity to complete one they would really love to.

The Blues have funded their extravagant spending with some very impressive player sales, making significant profit in the process.

The biggest name to depart so far is Noni Madueke, who made the move to Arsenal for around £50m. However, they have replaced him in the squad with the likes of Jamie Gittens and Estevao Willian.

Djordje Petrovic and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are amongst those who have also permanently departed, however there are plenty more individuals who are out of Enzo Maresca’s plans and available to sign.

Wolves manager Vitor Pereira thinks Axel Disasi is now ‘ideal’ signing

One of those is Axel Disasi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa after struggling to make himself a regular at Stamford Bridge.

It emerged though that Villa did not want to sign Disasi permanently, leaving Chelsea turning back to the drawing board when it comes to finding a solution for that situation.

A potential new suitor in the form of Wolves have cropped up, with their manager Vitor Pereira leading the interest in the Frenchman.

According to CaughtOffside, Pereira believes Disasi could be the ‘ideal’ signing for Wolves, with his leadership a key reason why he is keen on the deal.

It has been reported that Chelsea are willing to accept a loss on Disasi, with them still very keen for him to depart despite Levi Colwill’s injury.

Multiple suitors remain for Disasi

As well as Wolves, a number of other clubs have been credited with interest in the defender this summer.

Newcastle have been linked to Disasi, with their transfer business perhaps set to pick up with Chelsea before the window comes to a close.

Eddie Howe’s side have been strongly linked with Nicolas Jackson, who looks as if he is moving on from Stamford Bridge after two seasons at the club.

The Senegal international didn’t feature in either of Chelsea’s pre-season games, and is currently training away from the first team squad as all parties work on an exit.
