Chelsea have reportedly ended their interest in one target.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the likes of Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran and Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise.
Earlier this week, the reliable Fabrizio Romano claimed that Chelsea were deciding on whether to sign Duran or not.
As for Olise, the Italian journalist also revealed that the Blues were trying to agree personal terms with him.
So far, Chelsea have only been able to bolster their defence after signing Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham, but there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window.
Chelsea no longer interested in target
With Chelsea finishing the 2023/24 campaign with Nicolas Jackson as the only recognised striker in their squad, the Blues have been in the market for a new No.9.

However, it now looks unlikely that they will sign Duran from Aston Villa.
According to football.london, Chelsea have cooled their interest in the 20-year-old.
Their report claims that the club have doubts about his attitude and have decided to turn elsewhere as a result.
Which striker could Chelsea sign instead of Jhon Duran?
With Duran now seemingly off the table, Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion now appears to be the likeliest option for Chelsea.
However, they have already run into problems in their attempts to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Atletico have already rejected a €40m (£33.7m) offer for Omorodion from Chelsea and want to hand the 20-year-old a new contract with a €120m (£101m) release clause.
All things considered, it will not be the end of the world if Chelsea miss out on both players
Both 20, they obviously have potential, with Duran’s U15 coach Wilberth Perea believing that he has “fantastic” physical qualities.
But potential is probably not going to get Chelsea back into the Champions League in Enzo Maresca‘s first season at the club. Yes, the Italian could do with a new centre-forward in his squad, but he can certainly survive without Duran.
