Chelsea are now interested in bringing Keylor Navas to Stamford Bridge after he saved Nottingham Forest from relegation.
That is according to Foot Mercato in France.
However, Chelsea are not the only side keen to sign Keylor Navas.
What’s the story?
Well, the Costa Rica international joined Nottingham Forest on loan from PSG in January, and delivered a number of excellent performances to help them avoid relegation just before Sunday’s Premier League finale.
However, Foot Mercato believe Nottingham Forest are unable to keep paying their 50% share of his £198,000-a-week wages, and are more likely to sign Dean Henderson than keep the 36-year-old.
However, Navas himself would like to stay in England, as he sees no future for himself back in Paris with Gianluigi Donnarumma the outright No.1 at the Parc des Princes.

Along with Chelsea, Foot Mercato mention Tottenham, Brentford and Leicester as potential destinations for the three-time Champions League winner.
Navas still has one year remaining on his contract with PSG, although the French giants are willing to accept just a few million as they aim to get his wages off the salary bill.
Keylor Navas could be the perfect stopgap for Chelsea
In our view, Chelsea can find a more suitable long-term option than Navas, although there is logic to their interest.
The Blues could certainly do with a new glovesman as Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy struggle to assert themselves at Stamford Bridge.
While Navas doesn’t really represent a long-term solution to the problem at the age of 36, he represents a cheap, reliable option to guard the posts while Chelsea let their financial situation heal.
According to The Athletic, the Blues must make sales before June 30th in order to stay within Financial Fair Play guidelines, so it wouldn’t make sense to spend heavily on a new goalkeeper when Navas is available for peanuts.
