Chelsea have been linked with a whole host of wingers in recent weeks. Some fans are now suggesting that the Blues target Wolves winger Adama Traore. The 23-year-old has gained plaudits in recent weeks for some sublime performances on the wing for Wolves.
He has been effective in both wide-forward and wing-back roles and is a big reason behind the club’s impressive recent run. Traore was particularly impressive in his sides win against Manchester City on Friday. He scored an emphatic goal from range to start Wolves’ comeback, before setting up Jiminez’s equaliser later in the game.
After being criticised in the past for a lack of end product, the Spanish winger has come on leaps and bounds this season. He has scored four Premier League goals this season and provided a further four assists. His speed, strength, and ability to play with no fear makes him a nightmare to defend against. He could yet become one of the top wide men in the Premier League.
Traore came through the youth ranks at Barcelona but did not make the grade at the Nou Camp. He then spent time at Aston Villa and Middlesborough, before moving to Wolves in 2018.
