Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Javairo Dilrosun from Bundesliga club Hertha BSC – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are split over the speculation.

According to Calciomercato, the Blues and Borussia Dortmund are both interested in the Bundesliga attacker.

The 21-year-old was previously on the academy books at Premier League outfit Manchester City and is a highly-rated Dutch winger that has earned one senior cap for his country.

But he made the move to Germany in 2018 with Hertha BSC and has started this season in great form for them.

Dilrosun has played seven senior games across all competitions this campaign, scoring three goals and supplying two assists in return.

He is a left-winger blessed with express pace and is a goal threat with his favoured left foot around the box.

A selection of Chelsea fans are divided about the speculation on the wide player, but the report only mentions initial interest and a move seems far off for now.

Frank Lampard’s team are still serving a transfer ban at present and that would rule out any possible January interest, unless that is overturned.

Chelsea do have a number of quality wingers in their first-team and it’s hard to see Dilrosun breaking into the squad as it stands at Stamford Bridge, but he’s a promising talent with great potential.

Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Pedro and versatile ace Mason Mount are all options right now.

But Lampard has shifted a real focus onto the youth since he was appointed manager in the summer and he’s not afraid to put faith in youngsters if they are good enough.

Here are some Chelsea fans on the Dilrosun speculation:
