Chelsea have been linked with a move for teenager Armel Bella-Kotchap from German second-tier side VfL Bochum – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have given a mixed response to the transfer speculation.
The Sun reports that Frank Lampard’s team are leading the race for the defender and have begun talks to try sign him.

It is claimed that the Blues have started discussions with the 18-year-old’s representatives about making the switch to England, but there interest elsewhere from Manchester City, Tottenham, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United.
The report details that he could be available for around £6.5million to snap up in the summer transfer window.

Bella-Kotchap is a highly-rated youngster playing in the German second division with VfL Bochum and he’s played 10 senior games for them this season.
He is renowned as a rapid centre-back with explosive pace and he’s represented Germany’s Under-18s side on the international stage.

There are some Chelsea supporters on social media that have reacted positively to the Bella-Kotchap rumours and consider him to be a rising star with a bright future.
But there are others in the fanbase who have advised staying away from him, as they would rather be more ambitious in the market and don’t want to invest in too much youth.
Chelsea are overloaded with quality youngsters throughout their squad with the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham.
