Chelsea have been linked with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham – and some of the club’s supporters have reacted on Twitter by claiming they would love to see him end up at Stamford Bridge in the future.

Eurosport reports that the Bundesliga midfielder has been considered as a potential alternative to £70million-rated target Declan Rice at West Ham and the Blues could wait to try sign him in the future.

Aged 17, Bellingham is already becoming a household name at his young age after recently making his senior England debut and he moved to Germany in the summer from Birmingham City to continue his development.

It is understood that Chelsea plan to monitor the English teenager to watch how he progresses.

Bellingham has already played 11 first-team games for Dortmund this season, including three in the Champions League group stages.

He is a central midfielder still trying to find his best position, but right now he’s versatile enough to push into advanced areas to provide a goal threat, as well as sit a little deeper dictating possession and getting on the ball.

The rising star is clearly a big talent that is receiving so much attention at such a young age and it’ll be intriguing to see how the next year plays out for him.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have made it clear they are a big fan of Bellingham and are delighted to see he’s on the club’s transfer radar.
