Chelsea’s reported target Ben White was in action for Leeds United in the FA Cup on Monday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were impressed with his performance.

Championship leaders Leeds suffered a narrow 1-0 away defeat against Premier League outfit Arsenal, but dominated the first-half and came out of the fixture with immense credit.

White played 90 minutes in the heart of defence for the Yorkshire club and there were plenty of Chelsea supporters keeping a close eye on him.

The Sun has previously reported that Chelsea scouts have been impressed by the centre-back and that he’s on the radar for the January transfer window, with a potential “big offer” considered.

He is currently on a season-long loan at Elland Road from Brighton, but the report details they may find it difficult to resist a bid of £25million.

Aside from a couple of difficult moments, the Englishman really stood firm at the back for Leeds and looks a real player in the making.

He showed a couple of great last-ditch tackles on the box, while his ability to play out from the back with such composure is impressive.
