Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly attracting plenty of interest in the current summer transfer window – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded by insisting that he’s not sold.
According to Sky Sports Germany, German club Bayern Munich are prepared to reignite interest in the teenager and they were keen on landing him back in January 2019.
It is understood that Bayern have had discussions with the 19-year-old’s representatives and want a buy-to-loan deal, but no talks have commenced with Chelsea.
The report adds that Italian giants Juventus and German side RB Leipzig are two others that are looking at trying to sign the Blues attacker this summer.
Hudson-Odoi is an exciting English talent to graduate from the Chelsea academy and many are expecting him to become a superstar further down the line when he reaches his full potential.
The rapid winger has been a part of Frank Lampard’s squad since he took charge last summer and shown in glimpses how good he can be, but is yet to fully cement himself in the plans.
He’s a skilful individual that is extremely quick of a standing start and has great dribbling, but is still trying to work on his end product.
Hudson-Odoi scored three goals and supplied six assists last season across all competitions, and he started the new season with a late cameo appearance off the bench in Monday night’s win over Brighton.
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have responded to the Hudson-Odoi speculation by claiming the club would be wrong to let him go and believe he’s got a big role to play moving forward.
Here are some Chelsea fans discussing Hudson-Odoi’s future:
