Chelsea are reportedly interested in Spanish youngster Marc Cucurella – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have given a mixed response to the speculation.
Goal reports that the Blues are tracking the 21-year-old, who is currently out on loan at Getafe from fellow La Liga side Barcelona.

It is claimed that fifth-placed Getafe have an agreement to sign him for £5.4million at the end of the season, but it includes a £23million buyout clause in the deal.
The report explains that he’s not a priority for the Blues, but there is interest surfacing for him from Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Monchengladbach and Napoli.

Cucurella is a product of Barcelona’s youth system that is recognised as a left-back, but he’s mainly been deployed further forward as an attacking winger in recent times.
He’s chipped in with five assists in 34 matches across all competitions this campaign for Getafe and is someone with an excellent work-rate plus plenty of pace.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are encouraged by La Liga’s young rising star Cucurella and feel he could be someone worth chasing in the summer.
But on the flip side there are some who have reacted negatively to the speculation and would rather go down the road of bringing in a more experienced option to strengthen at full-back.
