Chelsea target Sergio Reguilon helped Sevilla qualify for the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday evening – and some Blues fans responded to his performance to urge the club to sign him.
The Spanish left-back, who is on loan at Sevilla from Real Madrid, scored the opening goal for his team in a 2-0 victory over Roma.
Reguilon showed incredible pace to dribble forward into space and tucked away the finish with his favoured left-foot, making in two goals in two games for him.
The 23-year-old has made an massive impact during this campaign for Sevilla and will return to Real Madrid in the summer with his reputation increased.
Chelsea have been linked with several left-backs already in this window and the Spaniard is one of the names to crop up in recent days.
ESPN has claimed that Frank Lampard’s side are already in discussions with the full-back and it’s believed they are at an advanced stage.
It is understood that the Blues are now favourites to sign him, with the deal still being negotiated over whether or not it’s a loan move or a permanent switch worth €25million (£22.6million).
