Victor Moses joined Russian top-flight club Spartak Moscow on Thursday on a season-long loan – and some of the Chelsea fans reacted on Twitter to the confirmed news.
The Nigerian was an important part of a Blues side that won the Premier League title under Antonio Conte in the 2016/17 campaign, but hasn’t featured in the plans of current manager Frank Lampard and has now departed Stamford Bridge for a sixth loan spell.
Moses, who joined back in 2012, had time out on loan with Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham before his surprise impact in the title-winning season.
But the 29-year-old has been back out of the first-team picture in recent times, spending the first half of last season with Fenerbahce before reuniting with Conte at Inter Milan in the second half.
He is a versatile right-sided player that showed his best form when operating as a wing-back, but has commonly played further forward as a winger for the majority of his career.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are thankful for everything Moses achieved in a Blues shirt, but they feel for his sake he should be moved on and offloaded on a permanent basis.
