Chelsea have reportedly been put on red alert as there’s a chance their attacking target could seek a new challenge in 2025.
When you look at the current Chelsea squad, it’s already stacked with so much talent in attack. As a result, the Blues have been free-scoring in the opening couple of months under Enzo Maresca’s management.
During a recent interview with The Telegraph, Chelsea co-sporting Paul Winstanley insisted Maresca has a strong belief in his playing style.

Chelsea eyeing Alexander Isak
According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea and Arsenal are both eyeing a possible move for Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.
It is explained that Chelsea and Arsenal decision-makers have been made aware that the 25-year-old striker may seek to leave St James’ Park if Newcastle fail to seal European qualification this season.
The report says that the Magpies have ruled out selling Isak midway through the campaign in January. However, Chelsea and Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Sweden international, so they’re both ready to step up their interest and are on red alert to any possibility that he wants to move.
Should Chelsea sign Alexander Isak?
If Isak does become available, we’d support Chelsea going all out to try bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The superb centre-forward scored 25 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions last season for Newcastle, including 21 goals in the Premier League. The reality is that he’s one of the most complete strikers across the entire division.
Signed for £60m (BBC) by Newcastle in 2022, Isak is now Premier League proven and his value has surely shot up.
Alan Shearer described Isak as “sensational” via the Premier League’s official website last season, and we’d agree he was brilliant last year.
Chelsea do have Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku as two goalscoring options in attack this season, but it feels like they could still do with an out-and-out No.9.
