Chelsea are considering loaning out one of their big-money signings this summer.
The club have discussed allowing Mykhailo Mudryk to join another club for the 2024/25 season, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
“I understand that it has been discussed at Chelsea,” Phillips wrote on his Substack Si Phillips Talks Chelsea.
Mudryk has really fallen out of favour under Mauricio Pochettino of late. The winger did not play a single minute in either of the Blues’ last two Premier League games and has not started a top-flight fixture since their 2-1 win against Crystal Palace at the end of December.
Earlier this month, Pochettino did explain why he was leaving Mudryk on the bench, suggesting that his form has not been consistent enough this season.

Chelsea have discussed Mykhailo Mudryk loan
At this point, it makes sense. Mudryk cannot get in the team ahead of Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke.
Nicolas Jackson has been playing as a left winger of late as well, providing even more competition for the 23-year-old.
If things do not change for Mudryk between now and the end of the season, then he has to go on loan to another club. The Ukrainian is never going to develop sitting on the bench and Chelsea will never know what he is fully capable of in the Premier League if he does not get a good run of games.
That is what has happened since his arrival at the Blues from Shakhtar Donetsk last January. Mudryk has been in and out of the team, not ever really getting the chance to build some real momentum. To get that, Mudryk may need a loan move this summer.
It is crazy, as Chelsea signed the Ukraine international in an £89m deal (BBC Sport), but it is the situation they find themselves in after his struggles in England.
