Chelsea and AC Milan have agreed a fee today for Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s transfer.
That is according to well-respected journalist Matt Law.
Telegraph reporter Law claimed on Twitter this afternoon that Chelsea and Milan have agreed a £15million transfer fee, which will see Ruben Loftus-Cheek complete a move to the San Siro.
He adds that the 27-year-old’s move to Italy will proceed quickly, too.
Law reported: “Chelsea have today agreed a fee with AC Milan for Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Thought to be around £15m. Transfer should now proceed quickly.”

Loftus-Cheek appears to be on his way out of Chelsea, the club he joined at the age of eight in the academy.
The central midfielder has had some fantastic moments in the Blues first team, especially the 2018/19 season when he was a key figure under Maurizio Sarri.
He’s had spells away from Stamford Bridge on loan, and despite some solid performances last year for Chelsea, it looks like his fate is sealed.
For Milan, they’re signing an English midfielder that will feel he has a point to prove. He should be entering the peak years of his career, too.

Loftus-Cheek, who’s previously been described as “brilliant” by Mason Mount, will soon exit Stamford Bridge.
In our view, the £15million transfer sum we will receive for him is a decent return.
The academy graduate is entering the final year of his contract and the squad needs trimming badly, so it’s some decent cash as we continue trying to balance the books during the financial year.
We can only wish Ruben good luck in the Serie A.
