Chelsea have just held a meeting with Juventus over the prospect of bringing Dusan Vlahovic to Stamford Bridge.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what is the latest on Dusan Vlahovic and Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Giovanni Manna – the new Sporting Director at Juventus – travelled to London over the weekend, where he held talks with Chelsea about the Serbia international.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe Chelsea were not just there to speak about Vlahovic, however.
It is said that the Blues mentioned handing over Romelu Lukaku and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in exchange for the Juventus No.9 as those at Stamford Bridge attempt to lower the salary bill.
Gazzetta dello Sport do not reveal any outcome of the discussions, and the situation seemingly remains open as Tottenham also spoke to Manna about Vlahovic.

Juventus are open to selling the 23-year-old this summer if they receive a bid matching the £66.6m they spent on his signature.
Vlahovic has scored 23 goals in 63 games since moving to Turin from Fiorentina back in January 2022.
Chelsea target Dusan Vlahovic is built for the Premier League
In our view, Vlahovic would be a huge success in the Premier League.
The Belgrad-born striker is a real physical presence, and has even been described as being “more complete” than Erling Haaland, which speaks volumes given the Norway international’s many strengths.
It was Nenad Bjekovic – President of the Serbian Football Association – who said: “Vlahovic is better and more complete than Haaland.”

That is some statement. The Manchester City No.9 just scored 52 goals in 53 appearances as the Citizens won the treble.
Therefore, if Vlahovic really is a more complete footballer than Haaland, Chelsea fans could be in for a treat next season if talks with Juventus progress well.
