Chelsea target Aymeric Laporte is going to cost around £30million to sign from Manchester City this summer.
That is according to journalist Rudy Galetti.
Aymeric Laporte, who’s now won five Premier League titles as a Man City player, is a top defender that could be available in this transfer window.
The 29-year-old centre-back lost his starting position at the Etihad Stadium last season and made just 24 appearances across all competitions.
However, there’s no doubting the Spain international is still a top player.

Rudy Galetti reported on Twitter last night that Chelsea and Juventus are the interested buyers in Laporte right now.
Interestingly, Man City could be ready to sell the left-footed centre-half for around £30million.
He wrote on Twitter: “Juventus (since summer 2021) and Chelsea are monitoring Aymeric Laporte, confirmed. The centre-back – whose contract expires in 2025 – could leave Man City during this transfer session. Manchester City asking for £30million to let him go.”

In our view, Laporte is a potential bargain this summer for roughly £30million.
However, there’s no way Chelsea should be prioritising the Man City player in this window. As it stands, the Blues have several talented centre-backs and look very short in other areas of the pitch.
Described as “incredible” in the past by Pep Guardiola (Manchester Evening News), Laporte is still in his peak years and a potential snip.
But for Chelsea, Levi Colwill and Benoit Badiashile are two very exciting left-footed centre-backs on their books right now. We can’t wait to watch the pair battle for a starting position next season.
