Chelsea were busy at the Champions League final last Saturday.
It has been reported that Chelsea spoke to the representatives of one of their targets at Wembley on the day.
Real Madrid, of course, took on Borussia Dortmund, beating the German club 2-0 to win their 15th Champions League trophy.
It was a game that would have interested Chelsea supporters, with Ian Maatsen starting for the losing side.
Maatsen spent the second half of the season on loan at Dortmund after joining them on loan from Chelsea back in January. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Bundesliga outfit could make a bid for the left-back this week.

Chelsea’s meeting at Wembley
Chelsea will be hoping that they can qualify for the Champions League next season after failing to do that this term.
To boost their chances of accomplishing that, they could sign a new centre-forward this summer.
One striker who they have been heavily linked with lately is RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.
According to GiveMeSport, it was his representatives who Chelsea held a meeting with at the Champions League final at Wembley last Saturday.
The outlet claims that it was a positive one and that the Blues are hoping to pay his £55m release clause in instalments.

Benjamin Sesko and Nicolas Jackson to be Chelsea’s two main strikers next season?
Nicolas Jackson was Chelsea’s main striker option during the 2023/24 campaign.
After Armando Broja joined Fulham on loan during the January transfer window, the 22-year-old eventually became the Blues’ only natural option up front.
He did not do a terrible job, considering that it was his first season in England and his age. In total, Jackson scored 17 goals in 44 appearances.
If Enzo Maresca wants to be successful next year, though, Chelsea cannot go through another campaign just relying on him.
It is why there is probably a good chance of them bringing in Sesko this summer and the Slovenia international becoming one of their two main options to lead the line.
