There’s a chance N’Golo Kante could leave Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
N’Golo Kante, who’s now 32, is out of contract with the Blues at the end of next month.
The Telegraph claimed a few weeks ago that Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival as Chelsea manager could be enough to convince Kante to finally sign a contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
However, time is now running out to sort a new deal.

Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has shed some light on Kante’s situation in a tweet last night.
He reports that Chelsea still haven’t reached an agreement with the French midfielder for him to stay, but there’s more discussions planned between all parties.
In addition, he drops the intriguing line that unnamed cash-rich clubs from Saudi Arabia are now interested in signing Kante on a free transfer this summer.
“N’Golo Kanté’s contract extension, not done yet — talks were very advanced in the last months but now the situation is unclear again. More contacts will take place,” Romano said on Twitter.
“Parties will talk in order to decide — there are more clubs keen on Kanté on a free, including Saudi.”

Kante’s had his fair share of injuries in the past few years restrict his career, but it still seems like he’s brilliant whenever he steps on the pitch.
The £30million star is one of the elite midfielders of his generation, winning so much for both club and country.
The fact he played nine games across all competitions during the 2022/23 season makes it hard to argue he should be given a new lengthy deal, but we hope parties can come to some sort of agreement for him to stay in west London.
If fit, Kante definitely still improves the current starting line-up at Chelsea.
