Chelsea are now desperate to offload Marc Cucurella – and he could even replace Ivan Perisic at Tottenham.
That is according to Football Transfers.
So, what is the latest on Marc Cucurella at Chelsea? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, it seems Mauricio Pochettino has no intention of using the Spain international next season.
Football Transfers believe Cucurella wants to stay at Chelsea and has already started pre-season training as planned, although those at Stamford Bridge would ideally like to sell him.
Chelsea signed the 24-year-old from Brighton for a sum of £62m back in August 2022, and put him on a contract worth £175,000-a-week.
However, Cucurella struggled in the 2022/23 campaign, and Tottenham are now ready to offer him a lifeline after Chelsea decide to sell.

Football Transfers believe Spurs still want the Chelsea No.32 as a replacement for Ivan Perisic, having tried to sign him under Antonio Conte before the defender chose to join Thomas Tuchel in west London instead.
The 34-year-old Perisic is close to returning to Croatia with Hajduk Split.
The report also states that Ange Postecoglou feels Cucurella could even play in midfield alongside Yves Bissouma as an inverted full-back, if Spurs are successful in their attempts to sign the Spaniard.
Chelsea must find buyer for Cucurella this summer
In our view, Cucurella will not be starting ahead of Ben Chilwell under Pochettino, and Chelsea cannot have a backup option earning £175,000-a-week.

Lewis Hall represents a young, talented option who can push Chilwell, so Chelsea must try hard to find a buyer for Cucurella this summer, while his value is still fairly high less than one year on from his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Another difficult campaign for the left-back next season would see his value drop significantly, so it should be a priority for Pochettino and Todd Boehly to find him a new home this summer.
