Chelsea are waiting to see if Victor Osimhen will sign a new contract at Napoli ahead of a potential move for the striker.
That is according to a report from 90min.
It claims that Chelsea are interested in Victor Osimhen and are monitoring his contract situation at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Napoli will be very reluctant to let the 24-year-old go after his heroics last season.

Osimhen scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances, which helped Napoli to win their first Serie A title in 33 years.
However, his contract expires in 2025, so Aurelio De Laurentiis’ negotiating position is getting weaker.
Chelsea keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen
It makes sense that Chelsea are watching Osimhen. Nicolas Jackson was able to score a goal yesterday and Armando Broja grabbed one for himself earlier in the week.
However, they are still both 22. If the Blues want to win the title, which has to be the ultimate aim for a club of their size and who spend the kind of money that they do, then Mauricio Pochettino needs a more proven forward.

Osimhen, who has been described as a “complete striker” by Chelsea legend Didier Drogba, fits the bill.
For now, though, Pochettino will be desperate for Jackson and Broja to continue scoring. And if they do, maybe Osimhen will not need to be a priority for the Argentine next year.
Still, looking at how Osimhen played last season, you cannot imagine too many people saying no to signing the Nigeria international if the opportunity presented itself.
