Chelsea are now keen to sign Wojciech Szczesny as Mauricio Pochettino attempts to find a new goalkeeper.
That is according to Tutto Juve.

What’s the story?
Well, the Italian news outlet believe Chelsea are looking at the 33-year-old as the Blues aim to find an upgrade on Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.
Tutto Juve believe Chelsea are preparing to make an offer after finding out that Juventus only want €10m (£9m) for the Poland international, as they aim to remove his £211,000-a-week wages from the salary bill.
Manchester United are also interested in Szczesny as the Red Devils attempt to replace David de Gea.
The Polish glovesman enjoyed a strong 2022/23 campaign, keeping 19 clean sheets in 40 appearances while also impressing at the World Cup in Qatar.
After starring in a 2-0 defeat against Argentina, helping Poland progress to the Round of 16 on goal difference as he saved a penalty from Lionel Messi, Szczesny was called “magnificent” by Alan Shearer.
Szczesny would be popular at Chelsea
In our view, Szczesny would become an immediate fan favourite at Chelsea after the Stamford Bridge faithful hear about his views on Tottenham.
After spending 11 years at Arsenal, the Warszawa-born glovesman developed a bit of a dislike for Spurs, who are, of course, bitter rivals for Chelsea as well as the Gunners.
Szczesny was quoted by Sky Sports as saying: “It is obvious that it is my ambition to finish the season in front of them, because I hate them.”
Of course – at the age of 33 – the Juventus No.1 doesn’t represent a long-term option for Chelsea in between the sticks.
However, if Pochettino does choose to pursue a cheap £9m deal for Szczesny, it could prove to be a wise bit of business in a summer where Chelsea need to spend to improve other areas as well.
