Chelsea are set to make losses on quite a few of their players this summer as they struggle to find buyers for them.

Right now, the Blues are trying to offload the likes of Raheem Sterling, Joao Felix and Ben Chilwell.

Chelsea could sell Sterling for just £20m after paying Manchester City £50m for his signature in 2022.

The Club World Cup winners also spent that figure on Chilwell when they brought him in from Leicester City.

Chelsea willing to sell Ben Chilwell for just £15m

Chilwell has been out of the Chelsea first-team picture since leaving the club on loan during the January transfer window, and there looks to be no way back for him.

Despite spending £50m to bring in Chilwell from Leicester in 2020, according to The Sun, Chelsea could now sell the left-back for just £15m.

The Club World Cup winners have struggled to find a buyer for Chilwell, with the 28-year-old being on huge wages at Stamford Bridge. It is no surprise, then, that they could be about to make a £35m loss on him.

In June, it was reported that Lazio were monitoring Chilwell, but the Serie A club are yet to make any kind of offer for him.

Chilwell had also been linked with Brentford, though that was before Thomas Frank joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea could sign Jorrel Hato to replace Ben Chilwell after selling outcast

Chelsea have already spent a lot of money this summer after signing the likes of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens.

They will want to make some sales before bringing in any more players, meaning that any move for Ajax’s Jorrel Hato could take place after Chilwell or someone else is sold.

The Chelsea Chronicle has been told that Chelsea are currently leading the race for Hato. In the past, former Ajax boss John Van ‘t Schip has described Hato as “special”, as per Goal.

Capable of playing at left-back and centre-back, the Dutchman could be a smart addition to Enzo Maresca‘s squad.
