Chelsea may be prepared to make a big-money move for Lyon youngster Rayan Cherki.
That is according to a report from FootballTransfers.
They claim that Chelsea are ready to offer Lyon a sizeable €40million (£35million) figure for Rayan Cherki, who’s viewed as a great replacement for Christian Pulisic.
It is understood that the Lyon playmaker’s representatives has been in talks recently with Chelsea and Tottenham to discuss a possible transfer to the Premier League.
The report suggests that the Ligue 1 club may now be open to selling their highly-rated 19-year-old.

Cherki, who’s still only 19, has somehow already made 102 first-team appearances in Lyon colours after coming through their academy system.
He’s going through some great schooling in the French top division. Also, he’s had a taste of European club football and international minutes with France’s Under-21s side.
You definitely couldn’t blame Lyon if they decide to dig their heels in and demand a huge price for their rising star.
He’s certainly still a bit rough around the edges when it comes to his overall game, but this is a very exciting forward with massive potential.

Frank Leboeuf recently told ESPN that Cherki already belongs in the conversation as one of the most skilful players in the world.
The skilful attacker has superb dribbling, close control and confidence with the ball. His ability to take on opponents and use both foot with such ease makes him a delight to watch.
If he can cope with the pace and power of the Premier League, we think you could be looking at a very special player in the future.
Our concern is that he would be yet another Chelsea signing where you’re investing in talent and potential.
Mauricio Pochettino needs a starting XI for the present, too!
