Chelsea and Arsenal target Moises Caicedo is reportedly prepared to submit a transfer request to force a move away from Brighton.
Caicedo, who’s just 21, is a young midfielder at the centre of a transfer saga during the few final days of the January transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano claimed on Twitter today that Arsenal have launched a £60million bid to sign Caicedo.
Meanwhile, Ben Jacobs added on Twitter that Chelsea haven’t given up on signing the Brighton talent despite Arsenal’s attempts to get him.

Moises Caicedo future
According to the Daily Mail, Caicedo is ‘desperate’ to move away from Brighton before the close of the January window.
It is understood that the Ecuador international really wants to join either Chelsea or Arsenal this month, fulfilling his dream to play in London for a big club.
The report explains that the 21-year-old is about to submit a transfer request.
In addition, Brighton are set to turn down Arsenal’s £60million offer for Caicedo. The Gunners are expected to make another bid, though, and £80million could be enough to tempt Brighton into a sale.

Chelsea have already got the better of Arsenal in transfer battles this month for both Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk. Can they make it third time lucky with Caicedo, though?
There’s a real hope within the Blues fanbase that the club sign a central midfielder in the next few days, which is why it’s encouraging they’re still linked with targets at this late stage of the window.
It’s clear under the new ownership Chelsea are game when it comes to spending and signing top players. However, will they be willing to nudge Arsenal aside and cough up for Brighton’s young talent?
Caicedo ticks so many boxes when you watch the way he’s played this season, but Brighton are asking for an astronomical fee for someone so inexperienced.
Described as “fantastic” in the past by Graham Potter, Chelsea’s head coach has already given a glowing verdict on Caicedo.
