Hakim Ziyech is reportedly trying to force a move away from Chelsea to French giants Paris Saint-Germain on today’s deadline day.

According to Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel on Twitter, there’s been “a snag” in Ziyech’s potential move to Paris.

It is explained that the 29-year-old Blues winger is now trying to force a move through to PSG and is keen to join the Ligue 1 giants.

It’s worth noting the deal is still rated as possible during the final hours of the January window.

Journalist Mokbel wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech is trying to revive his move to PSG after the deal hit a snag. Player still wants the move but doubt now. Deal still possible.”

Hakim Ziyech latest

Despite impressing in the past couple of games, Ziyech has spent most of the season so far at Chelsea as an option from the bench.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna on Twitter, Ziyech is currently undergoing a medical with PSG and waiting for the clubs to agree a final transfer.

Le Parisien adds that the Morocco international could end up moving to Paris on a loan deal.

It’s obvious that Ziyech has bucket loads of individual talent, which is why it’s no real surprise a team like PSG are circling for his signature.

However, it’s just not worked out too well for the right-winger in west London. He’s got a Champions League medal in his possession, but there’s never been any real consistency to the levels he’s capable of.

If Ziyech’s move can be sorted out in the next few hours, Noni Madueke should have a clear run at trying to nail down a spot on the right flank in Chelsea’s line-up.
