Chelsea are pushing hard to sign youngster Vitor Roque from Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense, according to reports.
Vitor Roque, who’s just 18, is an exciting striker emerging in South American football.
The teenage centre-forward is already scoring goals at first-team level for his club. He recently made his debut for the Brazil senior team, too.

TEAMtalk claims that Chelsea and Arsenal are the two Premier League sides pushing hardest to sign Roque, who will definitely be available to sign later this year.
It is understood that the London rivals have both been in contact with the youngster’s camp to hold talks.
The report adds that the €40million (£35million) valuation on his head is simply too good to ignore.
Apparently, Chelsea and Arsenal are frontrunners ahead of rival buyers Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham.
Brazilian publication UOL mentioned Chelsea’s interest in Roque earlier this month. In fact, they even met with the player’s father.
This fresh update about his £35million price tag indicates just how highly rated this young forward really is.

This deal feels very similar to the Andrey Santos one.
Chelsea completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos back in January. The 18-year-old’s since returned to Vasco da Gama on loan for the rest of the season, but there is a lot of excitement within the Blues fanbase about his future.
Roque and Santos were teammate’s very recently on the international stage, helping Brazil’s youth side win the Under-20 South American Championship earlier this year.
