Chelsea are reportedly in talks with youngster Lewis Hall about a new contract.
Hall, who’s just 18, has been one of the biggest positives in an underwhelming season so far at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have been busy and impressive with their work off the pitch in the transfer market, but the team on the pitch still looks miles off it.
Thankfully, Hall’s promotion from the academy side to the first team has been something for supporters to enjoy.
The versatile teenager has performed very impressively during seven senior appearances so far this season, slotting in as either a left-back or midfielder.

Lewis Hall talks
Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has delivered an intriguing update on Hall.
Apparently, Chelsea are now in active discussions with their 18-year-old talent about a possible contract extension.
“Chelsea are speaking to Hall representatives, new contract has been discussed. It’s not completed yet but it’s one of the new deal in talks alongside [N’Golo] Kante and especially Thiago Silva, main priority,” Romano told CaughtOffside.

Described as a “very special talent” recently by Pat Nevin, Hall definitely looks like someone that can really grow as part of this Chelsea squad moving forward.
The left-footed youngster appears to have earned the trust of Graham Potter, who’s turned to him in some big games already.
Of course, the amount of new signings at the Bridge does only increase competition and make it even harder for academy stars to make a first-team breakthrough. Hall does look like a confident youngster that can hold his own and thrive off the challenge, though.
It’s really encouraging to hear Chelsea are looking to reward Hall with a new deal when his current contract still runs until 2025.
