Chelsea are looking at pinching Aymeric Laporte from Premier League rivals Manchester City, according to reports.
Journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed on Twitter today that Chelsea are monitoring the situation with Laporte.
This comes after 90min reported earlier this week that the 28-year-old defender is looking to leave Man City at the end of the season.
He’s not longer considered the first-choice centre-back at the Etihad Stadium, so is targeting a transfer elsewhere.

Laporte, who’s won four Premier League titles in his career so far, has been considered one of the division’s top centre-halves in the last few years.
The £57million left-footed defender has been so consistent during 170 Man City appearances, but he’s looking for the next chapter in his career.
He’s a Spain international who has lost his starting position at Man City this season, but they do often rotate between a number of different individuals.
Described as “incredible” by Pep Guardiola last year, Laporte should be entering his prime years.
We think he could be a superb addition for a top side out there.

Chelsea don’t need him
Yes, Laporte is top-quality like we’ve mentioned above.
Chelsea don’t really need to go chasing Man City’s wantaway star, though.
They currently have Benoit Badiashile and Marc Cucurella as options to play as the left-sided centre-back in a back three, two players with nearly £100million worth of talent who need more time.
Chelsea’s defensive record highlights there is a lot to like about the backline. In contrast, it’s the top end of the pitch where the club needs to invest smartly.
