Chelsea are reportedly planning for next season with Joao Felix as part of their team.
Joao Felix, who joined Chelsea back in January on loan from Atletico Madrid, has been one of the rare positives at Stamford Bridge this campaign.
The 23-year-old attacker has tried to inject some life into the Blues forward line with his excellent dribbling, pace and creativity. His performances have definitely merited more than two goals in 12 Blues appearances, with the woodwork denying him on several occasions.
He’s quickly become a real favourite with the Chelsea fanbase. Will the club be prepared to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer, though?

According to journalist Simon Phillips on his Substack, Felix is currently in Chelsea’s plans next year.
“I’m told that talks with any potential new manager have involved squad planning with Malo Gusto, Joao Felix, and Christopher Nkunku,” he wrote.
Phillips later added that Felix’s potential move to Stamford Bridge is not definite, but the Blues hierarchy are including him in their plans looking ahead to next season.
Apparently, Chelsea are “pretty keen” to sign him. It will depend on performances and Atletico Madrid’s price tag, though.

Marca claimed last month that Atletico Madrid will want €100million (£88million) to sell Felix on a permanent deal this summer.
In our view, Chelsea should be hugely put off by a price tag of that size.
We absolutely love watching Felix, who is bringing the kind of individual excitement to the line-up that has been missing since Eden Hazard left. However, the Blues need to try move away from spending fortunes on players without elite end product.
Let’s hope Chelsea’s board have got something up their sleeves to try drive the valuation down. If so, we would love to see Felix back at the club next season.
