Everton may reportedly be prepared to cough up £25million to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea.
Sky Sports claim Premier League strugglers Everton are lining up Ziyech as a potential replacement for Anthony Gordon, who’s in talks over a potential move to Newcastle United.
It is explained that the Merseyside club could be ready to pay £25million for Chelsea’s winger.
The report adds that Graham Potter’s Blues side could sell the 29-year-old attacker as they consider his future.

Hakim Ziyech interest
Ziyech, who’s still under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2025, is at the centre of transfer speculation during the final week of the January window.
The Evening Standard recently claimed that Everton, Newcastle and Roma are interested clubs in Ziyech. However, the Blues are hesitant about loaning the Morocco international to a direct rival like Newcastle.

Described as “quality” by Frank Lampard a few years back, Ziyech quite clearly has a lot of individual ability.
The left-footed wide player reminded everyone of his skill with an eye-catching World Cup tournament with Morocco, who were the surprise packages by reaching the semi-finals.
He barely played much football for Chelsea in the opening half of this season, so suggesting he could leave in January seemed fairly safe a few weeks back.
However, Graham Potter has started to rely on Ziyech a lot more frequently recently as he plays himself back into a bit of form.
If Everton submit a £25million offer, Chelsea definitely need to strongly consider it. Potter should get a big say on the player’s future, though.
