Juventus are reportedly interested in Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Edouard Mendy, who’s 31, is enduring a difficult time during his third season as a Chelsea player.

The Senegal keeper has played just 11 games across all competitions this campaign. That has been down to a shoulder problem, as well as losing the number one position to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

He’s still under contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2025, but rumours are now emerging linking him with a potential exit at the end of the season.

According to GiveMeSport, Italian heavyweights Juventus are being kept in the loop over Mendy right now.

It is understood that Monaco are long-term admirers of the African shot-stopper, too.

The report adds that interest from across Europe is only likely to grow towards the end of the campaign.

This comes after The Mirror claimed last month that Chelsea have told Mendy he can leave at the end of the season.

Mendy, who joined Chelsea for £22million (BBC) nearly three years ago, has been a fantastic signing for the club.

The in-form Mendy looked a colossus in net who was so difficult to score against. Also, he was integral to the side that won the Champions League back in 2021.

However, his form has dipped in the last 12 months.

It’s unclear on who the next permanent manager will be at Chelsea, but if they want a keeper to play out from the back then Mendy should struggle to play.

We think it could be best for all parties if he’s sold this summer.
