Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea’s Mason Mount.
Mount, who’s been a key first-team player at Chelsea in the last few years, is going through a rare tough period.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder hasn’t started either of the club’s last two games, which is a sign of his underwhelming form this season.
He’s got just three goals in 30 matches across all competitions this campaign. Also, his overall impact and creative spark appears to have gone missing in the last few months.
This is someone who’s been Chelsea’s player of the year in the last two seasons, so his drop off is massively impacting the team.

Mason Mount interest
According to ESPN, Italian giants Juventus are now showing some interest in Mount.
It is explained that Chelsea’s academy graduate is actually open to the idea of playing for a rival Premier League club, though.
The report mentions Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United as potential suitors for the England international, whose future is currently in doubt.
ESPN adds that Mount isn’t actively pushing to leave Chelsea and further contract talks will continue soon, but the Blues may be forced to sell him this summer if there’s no solution.
With his contract expiring in the summer of 2024, Mount’s future looks an uncertain one right now.

Described as “incredible” by Raheem Sterling, Mount has proven time and time again his individual quality.
Unfortunately, the playmaker is someone that does still sometimes divide opinion.
Chelsea desperately need goals in their side to come from somewhere and Mount has proven in the past he can be a reliable source. It’s difficult to squeeze him into the XI now Joao Felix is impressing in the No.10 position, though.
