Todd Boehly is ready to sanction Chelsea’s move for Declan Rice this summer, according to reports.
West Ham captain Declan Rice, 24, is viewed as one of the best midfielders across the Premier League.
The England international is a superb player who’s been linked for years with Chelsea, the club who let him go as a young boy in the academy.
The Independent claimed this week that Arsenal are cautious about competition from Chelsea in the summer transfer race to sign Rice.
Now, speculation suggests Arsenal were right to worry.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea co-owner Boehly is willing to fund Chelsea’s pursuit of West Ham’s talisman in the summer.
It is understood that Rice is ‘destined’ to leave the London Stadium at the end of the season amid interest from favourites Arsenal.
But Chelsea are willing to push hard for his signature, which could be worth as much as £100million.
Apparently, recruitment chiefs at Chelsea believe Rice could be a fantastic midfield partner for Enzo Fernandez at Stamford Bridge.

Rice has been fighting to find his best form this season during a challenging campaign for West Ham, but he still looks a class act whenever he puts on an England shirt.
Interestingly, England and Manchester City star Jack Grealish explained in December that Rice is superb defensively and so difficult to dribble past.
He can do a fantastic job sitting as a defensive midfielder to break up play and anchor a backline.
In addition, he’s developed his game a bit more in recent times to show glimpses of a box-to-box midfielder that wants to contribute in all areas.
We would love to watch Rice make the move across London and bolster this Chelsea midfield. Surely, our priorities need to be in other areas of the pitch this summer!
