Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali could reportedly ‘move heaven and earth’ to try bring Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham to Chelsea this summer.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea’s co-owners still have their sights firmly fixed on the 19-year-old star and are expected to hold further talks after previously working hard to establish a relationship with his representatives.

It is explained that Dortmund are expected to sell Bellingham at the end of the season, with his price tag set to be around £100million. He would command wages in excess of £200,000-a-week, too.

The report adds that Chelsea are planning a clear-out of player sales to help them avoid any Financial Fair Play issues. Regardless, the Blues are not put off a marquee move for Bellingham, despite back-to-back transfer windows of huge spending.

Finally, Graham Potter’s side do concede they’re currently trailing in the race to sign Bellingham behind interested buyers Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The Telegraph says West Ham’s Declan Rice and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo remain Chelsea targets to strengthen the midfield, but it’s exciting to hear the club have picked out Bellingham as their priority target.

With Boehly and Eghbali identifying the Dortmund talent as a main target, don’t be surprised if the player is wearing Chelsea colours next season.

There’s been a real ruthlessness under the Blues ownership so far in the transfer market.

It sent out a huge message in January when Chelsea signed Enzo Fernandez from Benfica for £106.8million. This would be an ever crazier statement, though.

Bellingham is a high-profile individual that Chelsea players will all know, especially his England teammates.

Blues right-back Reece James, 23, is clearly among Bellingham’s biggest fans and loves him as a player.

James previously explained he looked after the “very good” Dortmund midfielder when he came into England’s senior group at international level.
