West Ham are interested in a summer move for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, according to reports.
Conor Gallagher, 23, is a Blues midfielder now attracting some transfer interest.
The England international has integrated himself into Chelsea’s first-team squad, making 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season. Admittedly, he’s mainly been used from the bench and found it difficult get in the starting line-up.

The Evening Standard claims that West Ham are long-term admirers of Chelsea’s academy graduate.
It is understood that West Ham, as long as they avoid relegation from the Premier League, will be interested in signing Gallagher this summer.
The reports adds that the Hammers will face competition from Newcastle United for Gallagher, who is viewed as one of Chelsea’s more saleable assets in the transfer window. In fact, the Blues are prepared to sell him for the right price.
This comes after The Independent previously clamed that Liverpool are interested in signing Gallagher this summer.
It’s certainly going to be very interesting to see what happens with the 23-year-old’s immediate future.

Gallagher was described as “really special” by Patrick Vieira this time last year (TEAMtalk), with the pair working together at Crystal Palace. It’s quite some praise from one of the greatest midfielders to ever play in the Premier League.
He’s an all-action central midfielder that provides superb energy and endeavour on the pitch. We’re yet to see him shine as a goalscorer like he did during his loan at Crystal Palace, though.
This role as super substitute will surely begin to frustrate Gallagher because he’ll be desperate for a run of starts. The same thing happened during the international break with England, too.
We think Chelsea should knock back any interested towards Gallagher this summer. He’s still a young 23-year-old talent with huge potential if managed correctly.
