Chelsea reportedly view Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher as the two players that will be the easiest to sell on this summer, with the pair both facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge.
According to the Daily Mail, the Cobham academy graduates are being viewed by Chelsea’s transfer chiefs as ‘the easiest players’ to sell this summer, with Mount and Gallagher both attracting huge amounts of transfer interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old fan favourite has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool, whilst Gallagher has continued to be rumoured with a move to a multitude of Premier League clubs, with Jurgen Klopp’s side amongst those interested in the 23-year-old midfielder.

As per the report, a huge squad overhaul is expected at Chelsea this summer, with the senior team consisting of an incredible 35 players, and this could mean offloading the likes of Mount and Gallagher, who have both been in and out of the starting XI this season.
Indeed, whilst selling the duo would be a blow for supporters, there’s no denying that the pair would recoup a massive amount in transfer fees for Chelsea, something that Todd Boehly could benefit from if the Blues are standing on the edge of what is acceptable with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.
Chelsea selling Mount and Gallagher could be for the best this summer

With one of the biggest squads in world football, Chelsea are due for a fire sale this summer, and whilst selling two academy graduates in Mount and Gallagher might annoy supporters, the duo leaving west London could be for the best for all parties involved.
For the players themselves, they will get to leave an environment that has been holding them back over the last few months, whilst Chelsea in return will receive 100% pure profit from whichever club decides to break the bank to sign Mount and Gallagher this summer.
