Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi has completed a move to Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season – and some of the Palace fans on Twitter are over the moon with the announcement.
The Blues have confirmed on their official website that the 26-year-old has signed a one-year contract extension at Stamford Bridge and headed straight out on a season-long loan deal.
The Belgium international previously had a brief loan spell at Selhurst Park in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign and he managed six goals in just 13 appearances for them.

Blues manager Frank Lampard has sanctioned the exit of the centre-forward, which is hardly a surprise considering the current options at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi scored six goals in 24 games for Chelsea last season, but failed to nail down a regular spot in the starting XI and it didn’t quite kick into gear for him.

Chelsea have now action his loan exit and can turn towards strikers Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud, plus they now have goal machine Timo Werner in the squad following his arrival from RB Leipzig.
He is now under contract at the club until 2022, but is spending the upcoming 2020/21 campaign over at London rivals Palace.
A selection of their supporters on social media are thrilled to see Batshuayi return to them on loan and believe he’s a great addition to their squad.
Here are some Palace fans discussing Batshuayi:
