Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been speaking about a potential move to the Premier League amid interest from Chelsea.

Victor Osimhen seems to be the centre-forward who Chelsea really want, with the Daily Mail recently reporting that the Blues are extremely keen on him.

Sky Sports have now asked the 25-year-old if he can see himself playing in the Premier League one day and he gave a very honest response.

Napoli will not want to see Osimhen leave the club for Chelsea or any other English outfit. He was their top scorer last season, netting 26 times in Serie A to help them win the title.

Another striker who Chelsea have been linked with is Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, who says it would be a dream to play for the Blues.

Victor Osimhen has ambitions to play in the Premier League one day

Osimhen expects to play in the Premier League in the future. For now, though, the Nigerian is focusing on other things.

When asked about a potential move to England, he said: “Of course, one day definitely. For now, I think have other plans in my career that I’m looking forward to, so when the time comes everyone knows.”

Victor Osimhen could join Chelsea

All things considered, there is a really good chance of Osimhen moving to Stamford Bridge at some point in his career.

The Nigeria international is clearly more than open to a switch to the Premier League and then you have to ask the question how many English clubs can afford a forward of his calibre? The answer is not many, with Chelsea being one of few.

A move this month seems unlikely after Osimhen’s decision to sign a new contract at Napoli and his participation at the Africa Cup of Nations. But in the summer, who knows?
