Erling Haaland insists he is looking forward to working for pre-season under new Borussia Dortmund manager Marco Rose amid Chelsea transfer rumours.
As we know, Dortmund’s chiefs have been very adamant that the 20-year-old will stay at the club this summer in recent interviews.
They are about to lose Jadon Sancho to Manchester United this summer and have very little reason to sell another key player in the same transfer window.
Even according to a recent report from Sky Germany, Dortmund have already turned down a player plus cash deal proposed by Chelsea for the striker.
Haaland himself has now had his say about his plans for the new season under newly arrived Rose.

“Yeah, I talked a little bit with him,” Haaland told Stadium Astro about the new Dortmund manager.
“I know him from before because I [worked with him] for six months in Salzburg.
“He’s a nice guy and I’m looking forward to working with him.
Asked about Dortmund’s chances to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title, he added: “First now we will have to have a good pre-season and get to know each other.
“We will see, last season we won DFB Pokal which is important.”

Well, it is very unlikely that Haaland would speak about any transfer rumours in an interview in the first place.
But as Haaland himself pointed out when asked about Sancho’s departure, Haaland also said: “Of course, it’s sad that he goes, but that is how it is.
“That’s football, you’ll never know what will happen.”
While Chelsea fans would be hoping to see Haaland in a Blues shirt, the reports so far suggest that the club would have a hard time negotiating a lower price for Haaland.
The reported asking price is around €175m (£150m), and that is excluding substantial potential sign-on and agent fees that might be involved in the deal.
