Bayern Munich do not look keen on selling one of their players to Chelsea or any other Premier League club this summer.
Chelsea have made quite a few signings in this transfer window.
They signed Renato Veiga from Basel last week, with the 20-year-old coming in to play alongside Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman and Tosin Adarabioyo, who all also moved to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Blues still appear to be in the market as they continue to be linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi, for example. It has been suggested that Adeyemi could possibly replace Raheem Sterling at Chelsea.
However, one other player who they are also thought to be interested in now looks to be off the table.

Bayern Munich youngster key part of their project
Bayern have a lot of talented young players at the Allianz Arena at this moment in time.
The above includes the likes of Jamal Musiala, 21, and Mathys Tel, 19.
The latter has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says he is going nowhere.
“Bayern have no plans to let Mathys Tel leave this summer despite links with Premier League clubs,” Romano posted on X. “He’s [a] key part of the project and he’s happy to stay at the club, working under Kompany after new deal signed few months ago.”
According to journalist Simon Phillips, Tel is a forward who Chelsea have discussed signing.
Will Chelsea be disappointed if they do not sign Mathys Tel?
Tel is the perfect profile for Chelsea.
The Frenchman is a versatile attacker and still very young. He can play in the positions the Blues have been trying to strengthen during this transfer window and is the right age for them.
Since being taken over by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, Chelsea’s transfer strategy has seen them target individuals in their teens and early 20s.
Some at Chelsea, then, may be disappointed if Tel does not end up joining the club this summer.
In the past, Tel has been described as a “very quick” and “strong” forward by his former manager Julian Nagelsmann.
