Forgotten Chelsea man Tiemoue Bakayoko will reportedly leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed on his Twitter that the 26-year-old will exit during the summer transfer window.

Apparently, Italian club Fiorentina want to sign him and are in talks over a loan deal. However, his salary could be an issue.

Bakayoko, who earns £110,000-a-week, spent the entire 2020/21 season out on loan with Serie A club Napoli.

He’s being tipped with a return to Italian football, but Fiorentina will need to arrange a deal.

The French central midfielder still has one year remaining on his contract with Chelsea, and it looks like he’ll spent it out on loan.

If possible, Chelsea should sell Tiemoue Bakayoko

It might not be easy finding a buyer, but Chelsea should try find someone to take Bakayoko on a permanent basis. The Blues risk losing him on a free transfer next.

He joined Chelsea back in 2017 after being a key player for Monaco. Unfortunately, he never really got going in English football.

The defensive midfielder struggled to leave a positive impression during 43 club appearances for Chelsea, and it will be a major shock if we see him play for the club again.
