Chelsea are set to sign Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal, but he is not the only player that the club are closing in on.
Despite already having Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic, Chelsea have been keen on bringing in a new goalkeeper.
It now looks like mission accomplished, with Jorgensen due to have his Chelsea medical today.
However, Jorgensen is not the only player who is set to have a medical as the club continue with their recruitment drive.
The Blues have been extremely busy during this transfer window, already bringing in the likes of Renato Veiga, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Marc Guiu.

Aaron Anselmino having Chelsea medical today
Like Jorgensen, Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino will also be having a medical today ahead of his move to the Blues.
That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who says the 19-year-old is in London for his medical tests.
Discussing Anselmino’s imminent move to Chelsea on X, Romano said: “Aaron Anselmino, in London today to undergo medical tests and sign six year contract as Chelsea player.
“Deal valid until June 2030 plus option until 2031, then he will go back on loan to Boca Juniors.”
Filip Jorgensen and Aaron Anselmino Chelsea’s next two signings
Jorgensen and Anselmino will be Chelsea’s latest signings, then, with the former going straight into the first team.
Jorgensen will fight Sanchez to become Enzo Maresca‘s No.1, while Anselmino will have to compete against the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo and Wesley Fofana for a spot in the Blues’ defence in the near future.
Given that Chelsea do have so many options in central defence, it is probably a good idea for Anselmino to return to Boca Juniors on loan.
The Argentine has been described as “special” by football analyst and scout Ben Mattinson. He looks like a real exciting prospect, but again, it could be a while before Chelsea supporters get to see him in action at Stamford Bridge.
With Anselmino only being 19 and Jorgensen not that much older at 22, it is clear that Chelsea’s transfer strategy is to sign young players. Coming sixth and 12th in the last two seasons, it has not really paid off yet, though.
